Everyone is entitled to an opinion it's true and I have mine which some of you on this board will know.
But comparing the two is comparing 'like for unlike' The game has changed, evolved, become more money driven etc etc. The only absolute similarity between that Liverpool team and the current Man Utd team is the fact that they have built the team around a consistent solid core of players who have been together for years. That is the only similarity !! Otherwise the comparison is the same as the old one of "would a peak Mike Tyson have beaten Muhammad Ali?" "Would Teofilo Stephenson beaten Joe Louis"

The answer to all these three questions, as well as the one "Who would have won between 1970's and 1980'S Liverpool and 1990's/2000 plus Man Utd ?" is..........
