Pretty rubbish eh?
Kieron Dyer looked quite sharp and Rio Ferdinand played pretty well. Emile Heskey tried his best with no support whatsoever, Barry showed some signs of promise and the lad at the end who nearly scored would have been a nice moment and apart from that, it was crap.
Gary Neville should go back to tackling school to realise that in the real world, dragging people repeatedly to the floor is called a 'foul'.
Beckham - what can I say? George Best got it spot on with his appraisal - and what do England do? Stick him in the middle of the park where his best asset can't be used. His dive in the penalty area (followed by his naff block of the shot at the other end) led directly to the goal. His distribution was awful for a change. Why oh why can't he play like that for United?
How Sky made out that the Beckham dive was 'clear-cut' and Heskey being grabbed hold of and dragged to the floor is a mystery.
Why didn't Sky show the slow-mo replay of Beckham in the first half trying to cripple some poor Italian lad?
But there was once nice thing - the injury to Butt-head
:)
