Firstly, try sending one response instead of three for a change.

Secondly, we should have a separate league cup to help out the smaller teams. It is fine for you as a Man U fan or me as a Liverpool fan to say "Our clubs don't need the cash", but quite a few smaller teams rely on competitons like this to draw a big team and to get a good gate.

The FA has said that any club fielding a weakened team would be fined - Man U do it every year - and WHAT A SHOCK!! no fines..

But I digress; It should be the responsibility of the larger, more affluent teams to help out the lower league teams in their bid to stay in business just one more year.

Liverpool still do it at the moment, and I for one hope passionately that they always will do!!

It is no suprise that a team that has removed the words 'football club' from their badge think nothing about the beautiful game, English clubs or honour. Give 'em a few bob though (Some dodgy cup across the world that no-one (rightly) gave a monkeys about) and they'll jump at the chance.

I believe that it isn't a good advert for the English game..

: Why should it bother Watford fans? surely them come to watch and support there own team not see somebody else's and if a weaken team gives them a victory then why fine united? Watford will be through to the next round. And don't think the united fans who are going are so stupid that they didn't know a weakened team is going to be put out before they bought a ticket.

: No other major European league has a second domestic cup competition so why should we?
