I would like to see Joe Cole get a run out but I think his best position for England would be the role Scholes plays at the moment... in my opinion in a couple of years he has the talent to muscle Scholes out. Midfield needs an anchor (Wise)
Anderton could be available and if Sheringham cvan be called up late, why not Anderton, or McManaman if not... but you need a creative replacement for Becks and Parlour ain't that man. Neville could play wide as a wing back across from Dyer, at the expense of maybe Anderton or Barmby.
Cole and Owen I believe will be a fruitful partnership, let them get to it.
And finally, I don't think Mr Heskey should be anywhere near an England squad... he is not good enough to play for Liverpool, let alone England
