I agree totally. I am a Blackburn Rovers supporter and watched Flitcroft being sent off in the FA cup tie with Bolton. I am not disputing whether it was deserved but I am questioning the unevenhandedness with which yellow and red cards are issued. I watched Match of the Day the same night and saw similar offences go by with a warning. 22000 people had paid a lot of money to watch the tie and the game was spoiled because the referee didn't allow the players time to settle down. Every match I go to, I watch officials making the most ridiculous decisions with sometimes such bias

: I think we are now at a stage in the game of football, what with 45,000 + attendances and multi-multi-million pound players, to have totally professional referees. Just when you think a game is going well and it looks to be an exciting game, some joke who works as a teacher, policeman or other occupation decides because the T.V. cameras are there he will make a name for himself. I think the F.A. really need to have a look at some so called premier league referees, i.e. Graham Poll and et al. Rugby have had extra referees and also the big screen to make awkward decision easier for the man in black (by the way that's not Fabian Barthez!!) for some time now. But the F.A. should really listen to the fans, because I don't believe for one moment I am the only person to think this way, and act quickly before these second job prima-donas totally ruin our beloved game!
