as an avid arsenal supporter i feel obliged to comment. i was recently at highbury to watch the league game v chelsea, with about 10 minutes to go i was arrested for drinking in view of the pitch. there were no signs to say ,1, do not bring alcohol into the stadium, and 2, not to drink in veiw of the pitch. now we were not causing any disruption or upsetting anyone in our vacinity. wew were bailed to return on the day of the ipswich game only to be charged and be refusedentry to the ground because of our bail conditions. we were told by the metropolitan police to come back to that specific game! we went to court on the 13/02/01 only to have our case practically laughed out of court and only ordered to pay �40 court costs. now i wonder how much of our taxes were wasted on police time, yet alone our time and money. so if you think it is just away fans that those jumped up little hitlers pick on, it is n't!
