If so, the referee has jurisdiction over conduct until outside the ground in theory though I would imagine in practice, it would be until the players reach the dressing room.
I don't know the full facts re. Neville. But hearsay suggests he was cautioned on the pitch for aggressive behaviour towards the ref. and red carded in the tunnel for continuing the same behaviour towards the 4th offical.
