Why should it bother Watford fans? surely them come to watch and support there own team not see somebody else's and if a weaken team gives them a victory then why fine united? Watford will be through to the next round. And don't think the united fans who are going are so stupid that they didn't know a weakened team is going to be put out before they bought a ticket.
No other major European league has a second domestic cup competition so why should we?
