I have noticed on occasion that BBC and ITV turn the sound down at certain grounds.
I would like to comment on OT's atmosphere, but I refuse to have the Scum on in my house - the way they behave on the pitch and the fawning of the media make me sick.
At least Liverpool haven't paid someone to win the league year-in-year-out.
From where I sat on the Kop, it was a muted atmosphere - but reasonably decent. I imagine it's hard for fans to make a Saturday, Thursday, Sunday and the following Wednesday.
Passionless pit eh? You obviously are right, if you cough too loudly, you get kicked out.. Why are you watching Liverpool anyway since you are obviously a scum fan?
You obviously don't have the utter hatred for Liverpool that most people in this country have for Man U..
: Now Utd fans are quite rightly critical of themselves when it comes to OT atmosphere, but having witnessed that passionless pit they call Anfield on Tele last night - we don't know were born. It was quite possibly the most deadly quiet Premiership ground I have ever heard.. Hand over heart I don't think there's ever been a single match at OT where the atmosphere hasn't been 10 times better than that. (Not hard I know, as you could hear the players voices for around 80 minutes of the match) Liverpool have serious problems..there attendance was a rubbish 29,000 (despite reduced prices) and the fans, well disgraceful...ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh......
