The 4 4 2 survey
Is this the same boro that only took 300 to Man City two weeks ago?
Greater Manchester has a population of say, roughly 2.5m. 10% of that is 250k. Do 250,000 mancs go regularly to OT - do they bollocks? What defines the "local area" - a postcode. It strikes me as a pretty subjective piece of research, but then again maybe I'm just too thick to understand it.
But then again 62,000 during the petrol crisis. No-one had petrol, it was a night game, the match was not exactly top draw, live on TV, the media claimed OT would be empty and yet 62,000 turned up.
